UNI EN 16636:2015 - PEST MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL SERVICES
The UNI EN 16636 standard is applicable to organizations providing pest management services, through which the value of services can be enhanced and differentiated from competitors.
The application of the technical standard makes it possible to address two important gaps that are often attributed to those providing pest monitoring services:
Requirements: organizations are required to manage a process that starts from the inspection, continues with the risk assessment of the products used, and includes the management and monitoring of the effectiveness of the process;
Competencies: clear management of requirements and of the professional qualifications of the personnel operating in this sector.
The standard has been adopted at national level by 33 European countries, replacing previously published sector-specific standards.
